The Act of Volunteering

The value of volunteerism can not be over emphasized.  TEAM has been able to achieve more than otherwise would have been possible because of the willing services rendered by the volunteers. The use of volunteers has enhanced massive outreach programmes.

Since from inception TEAM has created an avenue where people from various disciplines can give their time to supplement the efforts of TEAM staff.  Volunteers are well trained by TEAM staff to serve in various capacities ranging from Counselling, Home Based Care, Trainings and Awareness.  Another area which volunteers have helped is with office work.

Volunteers are of high value in organization like TEAM.  Volunteers help share the work load while at the same time have their capacity built by the organization.
